This Is What Happens When You Don’t Stay in the Prescribed Swim Lane
We live in a world where there can apparently be only one official story, and that story is increasingly guarded by digital gatekeepers.
This story reminds me of something our good friend Hesher — of Hesher and Spore who run the show Boiler Room on Alternate Current Radio — is always talking about: prescribed “swim lanes” within society. For certain topics or trains of thought or information, there’s a prescribed swim lane. It’s okay to deviate from the norm a little bit on either side, so long as no one goes outside the prescribed swim lane. Taking the analogy further, many people inherently know deep down that there’s a whole ocean outside of this swim lane, but in the name of safety or convenience, of not “making waves”, most people stay inside the swim lane anyway. While it may be more comfortable, this lane provides a very narrow slice of a worldview that requires a great deal of faith in people and systems which have not earned it. Such limited sight and the ignorance it produces makes control a lot easier.
Speaking of control, it doesn’t help that the media is so utterly controlled at the top that we just keep getting the same recycled story lines and tropes presented to us on a loop generationally. It’s to the point that Snopes even felt the need to “debunk” the idea that Walt Disney’s will stipulated the company is required to remake the same Disney movies every ten years. The rumor seems like the logical conclusion of wondering why Disney just keeps churning out the same stories over and over and over. People have claimed it’s just laziness and the low hanging fruit of making another buck off those recycled franchises, but movie making is still a pretty intense process that requires a lot of time, effort, and resources. Underneath that superficial explanation, however, there’s a re-ritualization, a re-enchantment that needs to take place every generation at a certain period to reinject that programming into the mass consciousness. That’s why we’ve got over a dozen shows that are all seemingly different, but the plot is essentially the same with the idea that reality isn’t what you think it is and you aren’t who you think you are and nothing is what it seems… In fact, after 20 years, it was just announced that Matrix 4 will be made, and it just couldn’t be more perfectly timed. Once you start paying attention, the pattern isn’t that hard to spot.
On the flip side, it just doesn’t make sense that, in this age of omnipresent connection and technology at our fingertips, people have just stopped coming up with original ideas. It’s much more likely that there is simply a prescribed swim lane of ideas, and those are the ones that continually get pushed and promoted and funded and served up to the public as part of different culture steering or culture creation agendas.
This, by the way, is why we make independent documentaries funded by viewer support on Patreon and donations, etc. Our information does not tend to stay inside the prescribed swim lane.

For Amazon’s Editor’s picks, Best of the Month for September, they are promoting a book titled, “Poisoner in Chief: Sidney Gottlieb and the CIA Search for Mind Control” by former foreign correspondent for the NYT for 20+ years Stephen Kinzer. Let me preface this by saying I have not read this book, nor do I plan to spend money and time reading it. I feel like everything I personally need to know about this book I can get from the cover, which I know is literally judging a book by its cover, but … let me explain.
Once again the public is being served a tale about the Central Intelligence Agency’s unethical cold war mind control experimentation project known as MK Ultra that’s primarily focused on a wide array of drug experiments, complete with sordid tales of LSD, prostitute halfway houses, and the creation of Manchurian candidates, all overseen by Dr. Sidney Gottlieb. That sentence right there makes up the majority of the officially prescribed swim lane regarding this program. The other well-known name is that of Dr. Ewen Cameron, the man who oversaw Project #68 by running what has been dubbed a “house of horrors” at the Allen Memorial Institute up in Montreal, Canada. None of Cameron’s work colleagues, several high ranking academics it was later disclosed were also involved in the project as well, are ever discussed in the media. So we have the American scapegoat Dr. Sidney Gottlieb and we have the Canadian scapegoat Dr. Ewen Cameron. When you encounter someone who knows about MK Ultra at all, those are the two names that they are the most likely to know. That’s the purpose of a scapegoat. But let’s get back to that in a moment.
Right after Aaron was interviewed by Dan Dicks during Bilderberg weekend, Dan got his channel demonitized completely. At the same time, Amazon suddenly took down “The Minds of Men” — a movie with 76 reviews and a 4.3/5 star rating on the platform (at the time), citing “customer feedback has indicated this title does not meet our customer content quality expectations”. Really? Which customer?
As we all know, there are a lot of movies on Amazon with crappy ratings that somehow magically get to stay on there despite having terrible ratings where more than half the reviews are one star and would be less if zero stars was an option. On an aside, using a rating system where “everyone” (or just a few someones or even just one extremely powerful CEO) decides for everyone else what will be available to see, hear, and discuss is a really scary window into society’s dystopian, information controlled, swim lane enforced future. We have been informed that there’s no appeal process here, so we can’t write to someone and get a review or even who made this determination and specifically what it was based on or any of that because it’s a private company and said private (global) company can choose to sell or not sell whatever it wants. Think about that in our quickly approaching world of automated labor, cashless economies, and social credit scores. There’s a lot of people right now championing their own demise by applauding this system that’s taking over. Society is going to have a real problem when just a tiny handful of gigantic global tech corporations have a monopoly on the ability to so quickly and easily control so much of what people will get to see and hear.
But I digress.
This new book (which was already listed as #1 for new releases in “Scientist Biographies” sitewide before it was ever officially released) is, as expected, being promoted all over the media — seemingly the one time it’s okay to discuss MK Ultra without being regarded as a “crazy conspiracy theorist”.

Well, it took me a bit to find this, because after wading through thousands of pages of documents and books for over three years I couldn’t quite remember where I heard him say it, but I think Sidney Gottlieb’s scapegoat status can be summed up in this one little bit of testimony he gave in a statement to congress in 1977.
Now, if you haven’t seen our film and don’t know, Gottlieb was given complete immunity for his testimony before Congress, and Senator Kennedy went out of his way to make sure that went on the record in this particular hearing.
Anyway, prior to his testimony, Gottlieb reads this big long statement before Congress,
and he gets to the end and says, “In conclusion, I would like to comment on three things which trouble me very much about the situation I find myself in.” The first is that he’s being smeared in the press for with claims he tried to avoid testifying which he says is untrue, and again, why wouldn’t he testify since he was granted immunity to do so.
But secondly, he says, “I feel victimized and I am appalled at the CIA’s policy, wherein someone or some group selectively pinpoints my name by failing to delete it from documents released under the Freedom of Information Act without any permission from me. That is, my name is selectively left on released documents where all or most others are deleted.”
It’s pretty obvious the implications of what he’s saying, but it becomes especially obvious if you’ve ever looked at the MK Ultra documents that were released, the ones that the men involved like Gottlieb and CIA Psychologist Dr. John Gittinger referred to in Congressional testimony as “boilerplates” — aka cover files that were “not worth the paper they were printed on”.

How exactly does that happen?
In 1963, a report of inspection was made on MK Ultra. In that report, it was mentioned that two — only two — people at the Technical Services Division had full substantive knowledge of the program and that knowledge was unrecorded.
Everyone else was compartmentalized on a “need-to-know” basis.
Think about it. Immunity or not, it is highly doubtful the agency would “accidentally” forget to redact the name of one of those two people, and thus, put him a position where he was required to repeatedly testify before Congress about it.
In another hearing a month before the one mentioned above, new CIA Director Admiral Stansfield Turner testified that the CIA was “in no way engaged in either witting or unwitting testing of drugs today”.
He said it twice. We aren’t the only ones who read this and went,”Yeah, but what about all the other psychotech they were experimenting with?”
As Walter Bowart points out at the end of his book “Operation Mind Control”:
“Only days before Turner was made intelligence czar, as director of CIA he testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee investing MKULTRA. Turner told the senators that the CIA had stopped all drug testing. He was not asked nor did he volunteer information about new technologies of mind control. He did not say the mind control operations had stopped, only that the experiments had stopped.”
Hundreds of people were involved in these experiments in academic, military, corporate, prison, medical, and other institutions across society and the world over, but you’ve still got articles out there like this one from 2011 titled, “Every crazy CIA plot you’ve heard of originated with one man”. Take a guess who that man was. Really? That’s right. They’re claiming Dr. Sidney Gottlieb is the real life Dr. Moreau of the cold war CIA, who was just over there running everything like a maniacal genius all on his own, without any higher ups to answer to, no one to stand in his way, and no one else with anything to add.
Just every crazy idea ever only originated with this one scapegoat?

Our film “The Minds of Men” dispensed with Gottlieb and the concerted focus on drug experimentation that has been pushed on the public for nearly half a century now within the first 20 minutes, and it’s a nearly four-hour-long film. What does that tell you? The project wasn’t ever just about drugs.

Why is journalist Steven Kinzer getting all the attention regarding CIA mind control in the mainstream today…But folks like @truthstreamnews get their groundbreaking documentary on the topic banned from Amazon?
