Google’s Selfish Ledger: A Talking Cricket, a Self-Writing Quill, & the Coming Hive Mind

This internal Google video was supposedly “leaked,” as somehow The Verge obtained a copy. Made in 2016 by the head of design at Google’s research-and-development division known as “X,” it discusses how our mass data which Google has been privy to for well over a decade now, could actually be used to direct human behavior.

Google claimed it was “designed to be provocative” and wasn’t related to any products in development.

Of course, they would say that. No need to design anything. We’re the product.
