Here a New World Order, There a New World Order…
Lately, it would appear the concept of a new world order is back at the top of the prominent people talking points list.
In his latest speech, Vice President Joe Biden described how we really need to create a new world order now. Apparently, Biden feels it’s “an affirmative task,” as in, a good thing:
Ums and Uhs aside, he’s talking about putting a more financially powerful China in charge of even more stuff. You remember China, it’s the country that owns more American debt than any other nation in the world. It’s China, the country that the New York Times reported as calling for a new international currency controlled by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to replace the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency back in 2009. Godfather Politics noted that Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa — also known as the BRICS countries — have recently renewed calls for a new world reserve currency not just backed by the IMF, but the World Bank as well… a renewed vision once again urged on by China but which truly empowers globalists at the overlord level. So, basically, a new world order where the economic prosperity of the American people is placed under the yoke of whoever the bankers let take the lead?
If China isn’t preparing for a new world era, it certainly is readying for something. China has been hardcore prepping stockpiles of rice, dry milk and precious metals like all of the above are going out of style. It’d be silly not to wonder if something is up, considering even the United Nations is admittedly confused as to why China is buying up so much rice “for no apparent reason.” This despite the clear indication that the tighter the squeeze on world markets and the more the dominoes fall in Europe, the more these commodities will become precious.
As if all this weren’t enough on the new world order plate, a new pope has also just been named. In almost no time flat, TIME Magazine (a publication which just seems to get creepier as the years go by) had dubbed newly selected Jesuit Pope Francis our “New World Pope” … a pope which some have even prophesied to be the last.
A telling headline in Reuters gives a hint as to which parts might be new, running the title, “Pope urges religions, those with no church to ally for justice” followed directly by the subhead, “Pope Francis urged members of all religions and those belonging to no church on Wednesday to unite to defend justice, peace and the environment…” [emphasis added].
So a one-world religion, too, could be on the horizon?
Yes. Even the Vatican itself let its plans for a one-world government slip back in 2011, noting “A supranational Authority of this kind should have a realistic structure and be set up gradually.” The Vatican’s plan even comes complete with a global tax for a world reserve fund.
But aren’t new world orders, one-world religions and centralized, totalitarian global governments just a bunch of conspiracy theory rubbish, anyway?
An April 3rd Public Policy Polling survey found that a third of U.S. registered voters believe that a “secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government.” Sure sounds like a lot of people believe in a new world order after all…
The blog Gawker tried to mock adherents to this thinking while downplaying these potentially tectonic events with the clever headline, “Conspiracy-Theorist Christmas Comes Early as Biden Uses Term ‘New World Order.’” The article attempts to ridicule while simultaneously admitting that such an agenda is already in place on a de facto basis. So-called conspiracy theorists, they say, believe the new world order term:
“to be a code-word for the rise of a totalitarian one-world government, orchestrated by the powerful and elite who would like to officially replace the sovereignty of individual nations (as opposed to unofficially, as they mostly do now).” [again, emphasis added]
So then it’s not so much a conspiracy theory as it is conspiracy fact?
Global government always sounds trendy and cute when combined with a call to unite everyone against a global threat, you know, something like A) space aliens (or the appearance of) or B) global warming (or the claim of).
Column A from the Henry Kissinger kind of thinking, a la:
The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government… This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. [yes, emphasis added, of course]
And column B from the Club of Rome kind of thinking, a la:
In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself. [emphasized]
The problem is, if a global governance is instituted and you personally don’t like what’s going on in your neck of the collective woods, there won’t be a whole heck of a lot you can really do about it. If you don’t like the new world order’s one world government, where are you going to go? Outer space?
Not under a scenario where moongazers are easily labeled as terrorist sympathizers.
Remaking the world order under the same ill designs can only result in a quicker ascent to raw power and its blatant abuse. Ignoring these attempts to fast track such usurpations, particularly on a global scale, and poking fun at those irked by the very real possibility is beyond foolish.
