Dempsey dusts off Cold War contingencies as Ukraine heats up tensions with Russia… portrays Putin as an aggressor that NATO could stop.
How’s this for ramping up the war rhetoric? Check out what Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey had to say about our ‘changing relationship’ with Russia during his July 24 appearance at the Aspen Institute.
He actually found it within himself to utter, “You’ve got a Russian government that has made a conscious decision to use its military force inside another sovereign nation to achieve its objectives. It’s the first time since 1939 or so that that’s been the case.”
We also discuss the new Senate Bill 2277: “To prevent further Russian aggression toward Ukraine and other sovereign states in Europe and Eurasia, and for other purposes.” HINT: The “for other purposes” part — which apparently involves natural gas exploitation and spreading US propaganda about the coming conflict (in AMERICANS’ names to the former Soviet countries, mind you) — is key.
The agenda is becoming more and more obvious by the day.
