The official story remains a bad joke. There are just too many inconsistent facts and questions. Period.
The real powers, the establishment, robber barons and big money bankers, did the deal. They did it with undue powers vested in the National Security structure, through the CIA. Their cloak of secrecy allowed programs to sponsor coups & assassinations in the Third World to be activated at home.
That same secrecy allowed those with money to seize the Constitutional government under “emergency powers”… and keep it concealed, covered up and above the people through continued crisis and under the table deals.
The Fall of Rome has been repeated; today is the 50 year anniversary of the pivotal moment when things went too far, when the Shadow Government, rather than Caesar, crossed the Rubicon. Will we ever turn back?
One month after JFK was killed, former President Harry S. Truman, who signed the National Security Act into law, wrote in the Washington Post a regret, and acknowledgement, of the seizure of powers that had taken place under his watch. At least let history be known to those who understand; never mind the petty arguments:
“For some time I have been disturbed by the way the CIA has been diverted from its original assignment. It has become an operational and at times a policy-making arm of the government….I never had any thought that when I set up the CIA that it would be injected into peacetime cloak and dagger operations.”
The National Security Act, signed by Truman in 1947, set up the CIA for intelligence gathering only – a limited role. Allen Dulles, later director of the CIA for a decade, transformed the CIA’s mandate into an organization off the leash, capable of destabilizing countries, carrying out assassinations, coups and prompting revolutions. The United States has never turned back from that power grab, despite the warnings of Truman and many others.
The JFK Assassination remains a captivating conspiracy because it lies at the heart of the Shadow Government. This pivotal moment connects with many other secrets. That is a discussion for another time.
