Egypt Coup: Order Out of Chaos in the Middle East



Destabilization remains the highest priority in Middle East geopolitics.

Just as quickly as the people stirred revolution into Egypt and removed Hosni Mubarak under the Arab Spring, a coup has taken out Mohamed Morsi, triggering the largest protests the world has ever seen. It has further reinforced the already controversial role of the military in keeping order, while dividing the Muslim and secular forces within the nation and larger region. It appears that destabilization remains the only certainty, with the motto “Order Out of Chaos” still in check.
