The response to terrorism has been prescripted.

The inevitable attempt to restrict our rights in the wake of the most frightening homeland attack since 9/11 is sure to come next.

In this special report on the Boston Marathon bombing, Aaron Dykes and Melissa Melton demonstrate how the formula of problem-reaction-solution is used again and again to motion the masses towards the fluttering illusion of safety that disguises a take over by tyranny only obvious once the aftermath settles.

The Homeland Security apparatus raising alarm over threats to our domestic tranquility has cleverly shifted attention away from the dozens of admitted “terrorism” plots set-up and provoked by FBI instigators to manufacture an enemy in the War on Terror and towards the gripping headlines of a sinister plot that killed 3 and injured more than 170.

While the world is focused on the outrageous evil deeds the Tsarnaev brothers are accused of committing, who is asking the real questions about the relationship FBI officials had with the Tsarnaev Brothers, or the special forces “contractors” caught in photographs communicating near the bomb before its explosion and later monitoring the aftermath with members of the FBI bomb squad? Who is watching the watchers? And how far we allow the social engineers to take us down the dark road of control?

The hijackers used 9/11 to introduce the draconian PATRIOT Act legislation that endorsed unwarranted government surveillance during a sustained, heightened state of panic. While the 4th Amendment in particular was damaged by the NSA’s spying and TSA’s groping checkpoints, much of the fervor has died down after more than a decade.

Now, the NDAA and related provisions have unfolded in sequence to strip away the rights of due process, legalizing indefinite detention for those designated ‘enemy combatants’ while priming Americans for drone strikes against citizens here on native soil. The populace will readily cheer swift “justice” against untried terrorists or suspected combatants like Anwar Awlaki, and now, Tamerlon and Dzohkar Tsarnaev, the latter who was detained without Miranda rights under a ‘public safety’ exception to the 5th Amendment.

What they little realize, is they’ve also endorsed the trampling of their own rights, creating a dangerous precedent treating civil liberties as trifling matters.
